Thanks for posting this.
I love Log Ins and Pins (and so have all the people I've shown it to - very relatable!) and The Disease. Can we assume these four tracks will be on the new album? (which is coming out when by the way? - Jeff?) |

I have all this song material from recent years, some of the songs are on the 3rd (not yet released) Jeffrey Lewis & Peter Stampfel album, other songs are on the new (not yet released) Jeffrey Lewis & Los Bolts album, and still other songs are on the 4th (not yet released) Jeffrey Lewis & Peter Stampfel album! So I'm sitting on these three finished albums, trying to figure out when/where/how to release them. Talking to different labels, and working on some of the album art in the meantime. |

One thing about playing on the Bob Fass show is that the late hour (it's always after midnight, sometimes after 1am, before I can get on) means my performances are usually tough for me... My voice is shot from exhaustion and I mess up or forget the words a lot. As i recall I messed up the words on one song, and I totally forgot the strumming pattern on another song. |

There's a guy named Luke Woolley in the UK who is working on a little home-made music video for that Take It For Granted song, he's been sending me advance links to the work in progress... Just a no-budget project of his, but it's cool.
And I just spent a bunch of time here in NYC filming with North Carolina-based filmmaker Jak Kerley to make a couple other music videos for the new album too, Jak has now brought all the footage back to North Carolina to edit, there's a lot more work to do on these videos, but there's no hurry since I still don't know when the album will come out. |
