Just saying hello, I'm on my summer holiday and have been to Athens and am now on the sleepy island of Lesbos. It's stupidly hot. Hope everyone is well and happy. Xx

I couldn't resist checking here in case I missed a great Jeff give away or anything pressing like that!

Wow, I've never been to Greece, would love to go! I guess there's a lot there to explore.

There's no doubt that there is something incredible about the Parthenon- being near something built in the 5th century bc is rare. I went to the museum and looked up close with at statues of people who lived thousands of years ago. I did philosophy for my degree and it was nice to feel it come alive.
There is a lot of evidence of the financial stresses in the country, I have been tipping heavily.
It's really hot and there are lots of fruits growing everywhere.
Maybe when I get home I will work out how to post a couple of pictures xx

I caught them in Newcastle, maybe my favourite show so far. So many good new songs/films! Wish I got to catch the whole set and say hi afterwards but I had to catch a bus home halfway through the show. I loved the new song "You Were So Awesome", that could definitely be a single.

Mama, so sad I missed you in Newcastle, I didn't know you were there! I looked for you. But I did find Helen in Cardiff! And Neil in Glasgow. And some other folks in other places too! Always great to see some of the usual gang! It's so nice for people to still be coming to these shows, after so many years! And I'm excited about the new songs. Actually I thought Newcastle was one of the best gigs on the whole tour. I love that Cluny room, great sound on stage, and great for visuals too (and very nice area for the merch table).

I don't know what was wrong with me that night, I think everything I said and did was wrong. I enjoyed listening to the songs, that bit of the night was great! I think I must have been coming to see various versions of the band for about 10 years now? It's hard to remember exactly. It's a shame every time we see each other I am older and less wiser. I'm glad everyone got to come and say hi, I hope the tour went well! Back home safe now to sleep all the late nights off? x

Sadly this tour didn't come close enough to the Netherlands for me to catch a show. Glad to hear so many "regulars" were able to catch one though! And seeing the setlist that was posted from Paris, I'm happy that I already got to hear quite a few of the nice new songs here and there Smile Always exciting to be looking forward to new music from Jeff ^^

Great to see you here hun, how are things? Sorry I haven't been around as much, people I know keep dying. I have mostly been working, reading, cleaning, and writing in between all the difficulties.

Thought I'd post a hello as I've been quiet here a while. And I'm going back to Greece in the summer again.
I've mostly been having loads of personal stuff on but have been reading books and feeling beautifully romantic listening to Bob Dylan as well. x
