Jeffrey, will you be playing different sets at the forthcoming London shows on the 2nd May? Thanks |

Of course!
Actually someday I'd like to do something like what Yo La Tengo used to do for the annual "8 Nights of Hannukah" gigs at Maxwell's in New Jersey... a week-long gig at one venue, different sets each night, special guests, different opening acts each night. |

That's good to hear - happy I got tickets for both shows.
The Wave Pictures have done residencies in London a few times with the goal of trying not to repeat any songs over two or three shows and selling a multi-show pass which worked really well. |

Yeah i like that multi-day idea...
I had a funny idea that I could have some kind of festival or endurance-test with my band and the Wave Pictures, something that could go on all day, like, they play a song, then my band plays a song, and we go back and forth like that all day long until one band runs out of songs to play!
Right now we've got about 90 songs in our live repertoire (if I include solo songs and illustrated songs), which is maybe more than I've ever had. It's not all the songs I've ever written (or drawn) but it's all the ones that we actually could get up and perform right now. There's other songs that we would have to work on remembering... |
