I love it, Nick is a clever boy isn't he, I bet it took hours and hours. I hope lots of places play it and share the joy xxx _________________ You don’t put your life into your books. You find it there. |

Pretty cool! I like the penguin - is that an hommage to Pingu? I'm not sure if this was known in England or the US, or where it really came from. But when I was a kid there was a claymation "show" called Pingu about a family of penguins which I would watch before kindergarden. It is a fond memory for me. Here an excerpt:

I thought it looked like Pingu too. We had it in the UK although not when I was a child, I must be older than you! _________________ You don’t put your life into your books. You find it there. |

I just looked it up on Wikipedia - Pingu is a British-Swiss coproduction that was produced from 1986 - 2000. From what I understand there are no new episodes being produced, but the show still runs on various channels and in various countries.
Also I found this amazing piece of trivia: In 1993, David Hasselhoff released (in Switzerland only) a single titled "Pingu Dance", a rap song based on the Pingu shorts and featuring samples of Penguinese.

I am still pretty young - I will be turning 26 next month. I believe I must have watched Pingu around the time of 1994-1996, something like that. |

I never knew Pingu but my friend in France first told me about it... I wasn't thinking about Pingu but when my girlfriend saw Nick's video she said it looks like Pingu! So then we watched some Pingu. The Pingu stuff is really great! Super cute and well done. |

Who doesn't love a baby penguin, nothing wrong with that. And he makes a cute noise too. _________________ You don’t put your life into your books. You find it there. |
