I know this is probably the wrong place to ask but is Jeffrey performing in NYC between 1/24-1/26? I will be in town for those two days and I'd love to see him play new songs live. |

Oh man, very short window of opportunity!
Nothing on my calendar on those dates I think...
I do have NYC appearances on Jan 17 ("The Tell" event at National Sawdust in Williamsburg, two songs plus a story), and Jan 21 (a 20 minute acoustic set as part of an event at Dixon Place in Manhattan), then an upstate NY acoustic set on Jan 30, as part of the Winter Hoot festival at the Ashokan Center up in the Hudson Valley.
But if you're in NYC on Mon Jan 25, you might as well go to the Sidewalk open mic night, I usually mean to go there every week if I have any new stuff to try out, but I haven't made it over there lately... but it's free to get in and there might be interesting stuff, I always like just hanging out there and checking stuff out. |

Well, shucks. I'll check your art installation at least! And hopefully you get back to Dallas sometime. |

Hey Jeff, just so you know, we just went by LPR and they wouldn't let me in to view the art. I needed an appointment. Only here for the rest of the day. It is a bummer. |

what the @*#^$&@*, they told me people could get in "anytime"! Especially if they buzzed!! I've been telling people that!!
I based my info on this response that I'd gotten from the curator at LPR -
People are welcome to stop in anytime - I know lpr can be tricky but if you tell the door staff they're are there to see the art then they should be let in unless it's a private event. Generally I would say 5:30p is a sweet spot as the room would likely not be set up yet for whatever event. In that case they would need to ring the buzzer to enter and say there are there to see the Jeff Lewis art show. |

The thing that's extra crazy is that LPR is trying to treat the show like a "proper" art gallery show, with the work being offered for sale, so how do they expect anybody to buy any of it if people can't get in?? |
