I always have a hard time choosing what to listen while driving my car.
What do you listen to when you drive? _________________ http://uberaffe.bandcamp.com |

Anything with a good sing along potential. Recently it's been the greatest hits of the Human League. Xxx _________________ You don’t put your life into your books. You find it there. |

I love driving to some looooong songs... like some great krautrock (like Hallogallo by Neu!) or some great afrobeat (like "Water No Get Enemy" by Fela Kuti)... |

I had a couple long drives last week and I listened to such standouts as:
-hours and hours of bob dylan
-ashra temple and psychic tv
-john fahey (it's really great music for driving past scenery, his playing is poignant and perfect)
it's funny you mention afrobeat because I was listening to William Onyeabor, who I usually love, but the droning of it almost drove me up a wall. I guess for me that musical mix of plodding and dance-y is better when I don't feel so claustrophobic?? |
