I really enjoyed this article, it's the story of Homestead Records (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh, Daniel Johnston, Big Black, etc).
good stuff from our friend Ken Katkin (we often stay at his house when we play in Cincinatti), and of course enjoyable Albini quotes,
this article really should have been another chapter in Our Band Could Be Your Life.
Also I know Craig Koons in this article, he was the guy who ran Sound Exchange Records in Austin when I was there (the store with the Daniel Johnston mural, where I would buy Daniel art and tapes, and where I met Ben Snakepit etc). I didn't realize he had some small connection to all this.
