I'm about to do a big reprint of "Come To My Show," I don't know if it will be ready from the printer in time to have some to sell on any of the upcoming October/November tour dates, but I hope so.
The reprint will be called "Fuff # 0," and it'll be standard comic book size (other than being 72 pages long), whereas the original 2002 edition of Come To My Show was on giant-size photocopies. Though the new edition is on smaller size paper, the covers will be in full color for the first time, and there's a little bit of new art and new explanations included.
I just barely managed to get all the re-formatted art files off to the printer in time, I'm flying out to Ireland to start the tour in just about a day!
I'm not really sure how long it will take the printer to do the whole job. I'm hoping it'll work out so that they will be able to ship some of the finished comic books out to Rough Trade in London so i can pick them up in late October when the UK tour starts, then have the rest of the comics arrive in NYC for when I get home and start the US tour dates. (Always very tricky to have stuff shipped to oneself when on the road, if you miss the shipment there's basically almost no chance to turn around and get it later!)
Anyway, whether I have them on the upcoming tour dates or not, I'm printing so many of them I oughtta have them available for a good long time to come. |

Glad it arrived okay!
It ended up being bigger and heavier to ship than I'd anticipated, they accidentally printed it on fancy shiny paper! Looks nice, but weighs more. |

My copy arrived yesterday via the new online store - thanks a lot!
Started reading this afternoon, I'm about 20 pages in and really enjoying it. The stories behind the stories, if that makes sense, are great fun too. Just read about the gum wrapper flyers - that's such a lot of work to do for a flyer. Neat idea.
If you're wondering what I'm on about you need to get a copy too... well worth the cash for 72 glossy pages. |
