After much struggling I think I've worked out how to upload to mediafire. This is the first gig I recorded on minidisc and despite the big hall reverb it's not bad. I've split it into two parts, both are RAR files containing FLAC files so it's lossless. Grateful if someone can download and confirm it works ok. If it does I've another 4 or 5 gigs captured on minidisc (from various venues in the North East of England ) I can upload, including Jeff and Peter's show at The Waiting Room, Stockton last Thursday.

Sounds pretty good to me Shaun and the download worked just fine! Can't wait to listen to it all. Thanks for taping and sharing!! You didn't happen to tape the Stanley Brinks set as well did you?

Sorry for being greedy Wink

I agree with the greediness! If you do have any recordings of Stanley Brinks, they would be a treat to hear.

They work find and sound great! I've converted to (V0) mp3 and am re-naming everything. Would you mind if I re-uploaded it in that format so people who don't want to, don't have to worry about flac converting.

Glad you're enjoying them.

Yes, I have Stanley Brinks' set from that night which is great, and Ish Marquez's set (which from memory didn't record that well). More than happy to upload them but I might not get the chance until next week.

No problem with stuff being re-uploaded as mp3s. I'll keep posted the originals as FLAC.

Oh no, I think I remember this was sort of a lousy show for me! Very echoey room, I really couldn't hear what things sounded like while I was on stage, it just sounded like a big crummy whirlwind of reverb noise no matter how quiet I was trying to be - also I remember it was not a very good show for Ish either, he was too drunk and he couldn't play his guitar very well. Stanley Brinks is always great though!

Sorry Jeff, I hope I don't end up uploading shows that bring back bad memories. Sounded good to me........despite the huge reverb!
