Hey everybody, first post.

I got to see JL and the Jitters for the firs time in SF, and then 2 more times in LA last week. Was opening for the Mountain Goats (who I caught 5 shows of, lucky me) and figured you guys would like hearing about their sets.

So, the bunches of songs I heard

The Ramen song, which everybody loved
If Life Exists, slowed down a lot from whatever recording I have
Shadow Party - fun rocking out to start off show
Picked a Winner - Jack was rocking out pretty hard
Wait It Out - I loved this one, so catchy
Roll Bus Roll - slowed down a bit, everyone singing along

then the released stuff--
Posters - rocked way harder than on record, faster tempo
Time Machine - same, way more energy.
Texas - Intense closer if I recall
Williamsburg Will Oldham Horror
Seattle
Back When I Was 4
a much-desired If You Shoot The Head, You Kill the Ghoul to close out the last show I saw

Comics stuff
Hippie Girl on 8th Ave
Creeping Brain - lots of fun with the drums and band getting into it
some title i forget involving an 8 handed monster who's missing a hand which was also great and I'm dying to hear/see again
Complete History of Communism, Pt. 3

All the Crass covers are taking on new shape live, heard these--
Demoncrats
It Ain't Thick, It's Just a Trick
Do They Owe Us A Living?
End Result
Systematic Death
Punk Is Dead
Big A, Little A
Walls

Think that's it, hope all's well, nice to meet you all!

Nice to meet you guys!
Thanks for the Severed Hand/As I Wandered Across the Land video too. Liked it a lot.

I might be able to even see another Jeff show in a few weeks in Chicago, but I'm not sure if I have the cash to pay to see him do an ultra short set opening for Ra Ra Riot and the Cribs. Damn college student budget.

PS for those who might find this cool, they covered the Mountain Goats' Window Song the last night of the tour with Helen singing most of it and then they all kinda sang it. Wish I could have recorded it.
